Behind the Scenes: Scene Facts: Lunch
- Cal orders lamb with mint sauce for himself and Rose. Lamb was only available
for dinner on the ship, while mutton was reserved for lunch. The lamb was prepared in the
D-Deck galley and would not have been served in the Palm Court.
- Bruce Ismay's line "Freud? Who is he? Is he a passenger?" was an ad lib by Jonathon Hyde.
- This lunch would have never taken place on the real ship. The Palm Court never "served" anyone, and there was never lamb available in this cafe, it was a strictly a la carte cafe.
- The Palm Court/Verandah on A Deck was not used for dining, although passengers could order tea or a small snack.
