Characters: Ruth DeWitt Bukater
When Mr. DeWitt Bukater died, he left his wife Ruth with debts that threatened to rob her of her expected quality of life. However, she was blessed to have a daughter like Rose, whose engagement to the wealthy, exquisite Caledon Hockley would save her.
