As the granddaughter of Rose Calvert, Lizzy Calvert has dutifully taken care of her 100-year-old grandmother. Something on television prompted Rose and suddenly she is ready to tell her story about being aboard the infamous Titanic. Since her grandmother hadn't mentioned anything about the Titanic to anyone until now, Lizzy is skeptical but willing to accompany her on her journey to the past.
