1955 - 1st class survivor Mrs Sallie Beckwith died of natural causes at the age of 89. 1867 - 3rd class passenger Miss Jane Carr was born to Thomas Carr and Bridget Goldrick Carr in Castlerock, Aclare, Tobbercurry, County Sligo, Ireland. 1863 - 3rd class passenger Mr Knud Paust Rommetvedt was born. 1971 - Assistant Saloon Steward and survivor Mr Walter John Williams died in Southampton, Hampshire, England, UK at the age of 87. 1998 - The biggest leap in sales of the soundtrack for James Cameron's movie "Titanic" occured in the days preceding Valentine’s Day. |
