1891 - 3rd class passenger Mr Domingos Fernandeo Coelho was born to José Fernandes Coelho and Jesuína da Ponte in Torreão, Madalena do Mar, Ponta do Sol, Madeira Island, Portugal.

1889 - 3rd class survivor Miss Aurora Adelia Landergren was born to Axel Landergren and Karolina Landergren.

1890 - 3rd class survivor Mr Einar Gervasius Karlsson was born.

Witnesses called that day: Retired Captain for the Cunard Line John Pritchard, Retired Mariner Hugh Young, Captain of the Empress of Britain William Stewart, Retired Mariner John Alexander Fairfull, Retired Mariner Andrew Braes and Naval Architect for Harland and Wolff Shipbuilders Edward Wilding.

1998 - James Cameron's movie "Titanic" fell from the Top 10 at the US box office after breaking the record for consecutive weeks in the Top 10.

1870 - Lookout and survivor Mr Reginald Robinson Lee was baptised at the church of St. Helen, Bensington, Oxfordshire, England, UK.
