1925 - 3rd class survivor Mr Oskar Leander Johansson Palmquist died from drowning in Bridgeport, Connecticut at the age of 39. Murdered by the husband (or boyfriend) of the woman he was having an affair with. Contemporary reports at the time of his death which appeared in the New York Times and Bridgeport Post called the death an accident.

1882 - Fireman / Stoker and survivor Mr Robert Couper was born in Southampton, Hampshire, England, UK.

1935 - Last voyage of Titanic's sister ship Olympic, Southampton to New York.

1937 - Stewardess and survivor Miss Sarah Agnes Stap died.
