1861 - 3rd class passenger Mr Carl / Charles Peter Widegren was born in Algutsrum, Öland Island, Sweden. 1894 - Assistant Waiter Mr Maurice Emile Victor Debreucq was born in France. 1998 - James Cameron's movie "Titanic" was released into theaters in Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, Latvia, and Bulgaria. 1872 - Saloon Steward and survivor Mr Alexander James Littlejohn was born in Whitechapel London England, UK. 1997 - The sinking scenes for James Cameron's movie "Titanic" were filmed from the 6th to the 12th and were the most expensive filming days in motion picture history. |

Since December of 1997, Titanic fans all over the world have been reading books, creating webpages, visiting these webpages, writing fan fiction, watching the film repeatedly, and expressing how this movie made them feel through words and art. There is yet to be an official fan site to appreciate and acknowledge the loyal fans of the movie and its real-life history. In the time since the release of Titanic, many websites have started and ceased to exist. As a lasting tribute to this masterpiece, Back to TITANIC is dedicated to the webmasters and fans of Titanic.
