1949 - 2nd class survivor Mrs Alice Adelaide Louch died of a cerebral haemorrhage (brain tumor) in Bristol, Avon, England, UK.
1956 - Assistant Telegraphist and survivor Mr Harold Sydney Bride died of bronchial carcinoma in Glasgow, Scotland, UK at the age of 66.
1912 - Day 10 of the American inquiry into the Titanic disaster in Washington, D. C., USA. Witnesses called that day: Chairman of the British Marconi Company Guglielmo Marconi, Chief Engineer of the Marconi Wireless Telegraph Company of America Frederick Sammis, First Class Passenger Hugh Woolner, Marconi Operator Harold Sydney Bride, Fourth Officer Joseph Groves Boxhall, and Marconi Operator for the Carpathia Harold Thomas Cottam.
1912 - Lookout and survivor Mr Archie Jewell arrived back in England on board the Lapland which docked at Plymouth.

Since December of 1997, Titanic fans all over the world have been reading books, creating webpages, visiting these webpages, writing fan fiction, watching the film repeatedly, and expressing how this movie made them feel through words and art. There is yet to be an official fan site to appreciate and acknowledge the loyal fans of the movie and its real-life history. In the time since the release of Titanic, many websites have started and ceased to exist. As a lasting tribute to this masterpiece, Back to TITANIC is dedicated to the webmasters and fans of Titanic.
