| 1947 - 1st class survivor Mr Frederic Oakley Spedden died of heart failure / disease in Palm Beach, Florida, USA at the age of 80. He suffered a heart attack while in the swimming pool of the Bath Club where he was spending the winter.
1961 - Cook and survivor Mr Alfred Edgar Windebank died at the age of 87. 1870 - Head Waiter Sig. Francesco Luigi Arcangelo Nannini was born to Antionio Nannini and Giuseppina Albonetti in Marradi (Firenze), Italy. 1998 - James Cameron's movie "Titanic" premiered in Chile. 1878 - Junior Assistant 2nd. Engineer Mr Herbert Gifford Harvey was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK. 1912 - Titanic was dry-docked in the Thompson Graving Dock where she received her three propellers. |
